US senator to HBO: Film Tubman movie at her New York home

U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer is asking HBO to film its movie about abolitionist Harriet Tubman at the historic site of her former home in central New York. The Post-Standard of Syracuse reports that the New York Democrat sent a letter Tuesday to the cable television network and its parent company, Time Warner Cable, urging them to film in the town of Fleming, just outside the city of Auburn.
