Kickstarter has launched its first-ever non-profit campaign which enables anyone to donate directly to support refugees. Instacart, which enable uses to order groceries, has also joined forces with UNHCR to provide food to refugees. Customers will be given the option to buy food for refugee families when they do their shopping. Twitter launched a donation product early, allowing NGOs working on the crisis to raise funds on Twitter. Airbnb is providing free housing credits to aid workers and matching any gifts from their community. Starbucks is asking customers to donate to a partner NGO through its social media channels.
