Based on PSoC® 4 programmable system-on-chip architecture, CCG1 Type-C Port Controllers integrate voltage- and current-monitoring circuitry critical for power adapter applications. PSoC 4 architecture integrates ARM® Cortex™-M0 core with PSoC's programmable analog and digital peripherals. Type-C standard’s 2.4 mm high connector plug allows for transport of USB signals and PCIe or DisplayPort signals on same connector. Applications include USB cables, power adapters, notebooks, and monitors.
