With USB Billboard functionality that allows communication of status to host that does not support DisplayPort (DP), EZ-PD™ CCG1-based USB Type-C to HDMI/DVI/VGA Adapter enables connectivity between USB Type-C receptacle and HDMI/DVI/VGA plug. Also available, CY4501 CCG1 Development Kit (DVK), enables designers to add USB Type-C to any system. Functionality allows evaluation of several features for USB Type-C with design examples and demonstrations of USB SuperSpeed, DisplayPort, and Power Delivery.
