USDA and EPA Release New Report on Honey Bee Health

Released by U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and U.S. EPA, scientific report on honey bee health states that there are multiple factors – including parasites and disease, genetics, poor nutrition, and pesticide exposure – contributing to honey bee colony declines. Acting EPA Administrator Bob Perciasepe called this "a complex problem" and affirmed EPA's commitment to continuing to work with USDA, researchers, beekeepers, growers, and public to address this challenge.
