Ukraine regulator wants Kyivstar to reduce some call rates

2016-07-05 19:02:00| Telecompaper Headlines

(Telecompaper) Ukrainian national competition watchdog AMKU has recommended that mobile operator Kyivstar reduce call rates to fixed networks, reports BizLigaNet. The regulator believes the operator is misusing its dominant position in the market. Kyivstar currently applies two rates of calls to fixed networks, UAH 1.75 per minute and UAH 1.50 per minute. Calls to mobile networks cost UAH 0.60 per minute.
