In single cycle, HiQ MPW Modular Punch Weld Machine shapes membrane contour by punching, transports membrane belt by conveyor to welding site, ultrasonically welds membrane, and winds membrane tape on. Process saves material and minimizes cycle time to less than 2 seconds. Targeted application of energy and defined melt formation ensure that membrane is not damaged. To check whether membrane is correctly punched and positioned, system is equipped with vacuum monitor.
