Union Pacific not expected to hit PTC deadline; BNSF is on track

LA VISTA, Neb. - There is no indication that Union Pacific Railroad will meet a federal deadline for installing Positive Train Control , a safety system aimed at preventing tragedies like the weekend derailment in New York which left four passengers dead and dozens injured.
