United Biscuits has appointed the Sunday Times' non-executive director of the year, Frank Meysman, as its non-executive chairman. He will bring over 25 years' experience working with major global consumer goods businesses to the role, including Procter & Gamble, Douwe Egberts and Sara Lee .
