Sky News: The Met Office has been forced to hit back after its five-year weather forecast was seen to imply that global warming had "stalled".
The weather forecaster originally explained global temperatures were still at record levels - and predicted to be above average - but that the rate of rise had slowed.
"Global average temperature is expected to remain between 0.28°C and 0.59°C above the long-term average during the period 2013-2017, with values most likely to be about 0.43°C higher than average,"...
