Blue and Green: A survey released on Tuesday by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) has contradicted findings from a trade body earlier this week. The new poll found less than a quarter of Brits said they support shale gas extraction, a decline since the previous survey in March.
The DECC public opinion tracker wave 10 also found continued high levels of support for renewable energy and a drop in support for nuclear power.
