United Technologies: Goodrich Acquisition Payoffs Now Tangible

United Technologies announced in September 2011 that it was going to acquire Goodrich, a global supplier of landing gear, airplane brakes and an assortment of aircraft equipment, for a staggering $18.4 billion in what was to be the largest deal ever in the history of the aerospace industry.
