Precision guideway with ball bearings on moveable arm promote reliability and repeatability, while heat isolating handles reduce thermal influences. Stationary measuring arm can be moved along column for coarse adjustment, and constant measuring force is applied due to built-in spring. Direction of measuring force and measuring arms can be changed for external or internal dimensions.
