University of Hawaii researcher wins $104K grant

A University of Hawaii researcher has won a federal grant totaling more than $104,000 for a sepsis treatment study. The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports the study aims to look at whether Hawaii waters can be used to ward off sepsis, a critical complication of infection.
