Used for agriculture applications, Trimble® UX5 can capture aerial images for scouting and monitoring crop health. UAS flies at 50 mph and is stable in crosswinds and light rain. In one 50 min flight, unit can cover 0.8 square mile area at 2 in. image resolution. Included camera is modified to capture NIR spectrum, and output of flight provides geo-referenced precision images, DSM showing elevations as color image, and dense 3D point cloud with elevations.
