Up To Speed: Gap reduces earnings forecast amid apparel retail slowdown

Gap Inc. cited slowing sales, particularly at its namesake Gap stores, as it cut its earnings forecast for the rest of the year, ending in February. Specifically, Bloomberg reported, same-store sales at Gap fell 5 percent for this past quarter.
