Utility to Break Ground on New Mason City Operations Center

Alliant Energy is set to break ground next week on a 67,000-square-foot operations center in Mason City. The groundbreaking will be held at 2 p.m. Monday on about 20 acres of land at 1035 43rd St. S.W. The center will allow Alliant to have most of its Mason City facilities and about 75 employees on the same property.
