VF, United Guaranty pledge a total of $3M to 'Say Yes to Education' campaign

Greensboro-based apparel maker VF Corp. and mortgage insurer United Guaranty Corp. announced Monday that they have pledged a total of $3 million to the $28 million "Say Yes to Education" fundraising initiative , bringing the total announced commitments so far to $8 million. VF pledged $2 million and United Guaranty pledged $1 million to the Say Yes to Education effort, adding to a $5 million commitment announced last month by the Phillips Foundation.
