With R&S SMW K540 option, R&S SMW200A Vector Signal Generator can test envelope tracking power amplifiers for smartphones, base stations, and tactical radios. Envelope tracking makes it possible to optimize amplifier efficiency as it allows amplifier supply voltage to track envelope of RF signal. Capable of delivering full synchronous RF and envelope waveforms in single instrument, generator lets users delay RF waveform and envelope waveform relative to each other by ±500 ns with 1 ps resolution.
