Verizon Wireless sells Lower 700MHz spectrum to AT&T for $1.9 billion

Verizon Wireless has announced that it has sold all of its Lower 700MHz spectrum to other companies, completing a promise that it made to acquire the AWS spectrum from SpectrumCo. This sale will boost AT&T's LTE network in many areas by doubling speed and capacity.
