Verizon has furthered the capabilities of 100G by deploying the technology on its network in Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong, connecting these three locations in one of the highest growth regions it serves today. Leveraging the Fujitsu Flashwave 9500 ROADM and Ciena 5430 Reconfigurable Switching System, this network build added about 11,681 terrestrial and submarine miles to the telco's growing 100G network.
