Verizon said to be kicking the tires on AOL acquisition

Verizon Communications is exploring the possibility of acquiring or forming a joint venture with AOL to expand its mobile-video offerings, Bloomberg reported Monday. No formal proposal has been made and no deal is imminent, according to Bloomberg's unidentified sources.
