The San Francisco Chronicle reports that on Saturday morning residents will gather at Lotta's Fountain along Market Street at Kearny and Geary streets for a moment of silence at 5:12 a.m., the exact time of the April 18 quake. The actual anniversary of the quake is Friday and there are other events around San Francisco Friday marking the date.
