Lockheed Martin's overbudget and behind-schedule F-35 might have gotten a little cheaper, as Pratt & Whitney inked a deal with the Pentagon to provide the next batch of engines for the stealth fighter. According to Reuters sources, Pratt & Whitney, part of United Technologies, late Tuesday signed a deal with the Pentagon to provide a seventh batch of F135 engines.
