(Telecompaper) Vodafone Germany said it has upgraded internet connections for another 60,000 households connected to its network, enabling them to surf the web at up to 500 Mbps. Residences in large cities like Munich, Hamburg and Wuerzburg as well as rural areas like Eisenfeld, Gauting and Reinfeld have benefited from this most recent round of upgrades, said Vodafone. It said 5.2 million homes with 10.5 million people in them now have access to 500 Mbps broadband.
