(Telecompaper) Vodafone Spain announced that it's passed 1 million TV customers, up from a reported 902,000 at the end of September 2015. After adding 216,000 customers in the past year, the operator claims to be the second-largest TV provider in Spain, after Movistar. Vodafone said that it aims to continue the growth trend in 2016, with TV seen as a key feature of its offering. Since acquiring cable operator Ono and launching its Vodafone One offer, the operator has steadily added new features to the TV service, as well as conducting extensive promotions with free access to premium content. It's also offering free access for six months to Netflix after integrating the streaming service in its set-top box.
