Vodafone Spain to launch LTE network on 29 May

(Telecompaper) Vodafone Spain has announced that it will launch 4G services on 29 May. The operator will start the service in seven cities, namely Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid, Malaga, Palma de Mallorca, Seville and Valencia. At launch, the service will cover 55 percent of the population of each city. Vodafone is backing the launch with a major TV, press and online ad campaign under the slogan "The fastest network is becoming faster than ever".
