Vodafone bets on content, store expansion to fight Telstra and Optus

Vodafone is counting on serving "content" like video-on-demand to its customers as a way to shore-up its relevance in the Australian market. The telco is forging ahead with a "huge" retail expansion and new content partnerships despite continuing customer service issues and recent speculation that Vodafone Group would be better off selling out of its joint Australian venture.
