Vodafone wants a piece of the Dutch quad-play market

2015-09-28 12:06:00| Telecompaper Headlines

(Telecompaper) Vodafone Netherlands wants to take part of the Dutch quad-play market. The operator will give extra's to mobile customers who also take fixed telephony, internet and TV packages from Vodafone. The customers will receive an additional 3 GB per month as well as a free TV theme package, of their own choosing. Vodafone said this will enable it to compete in the growing market dominated mainly by KPN and Ziggo. According to Bart Hofker, director of the consumer market at Vodafone NL, the new offering will erase the distinction between fixed and mobile. Hofkar wants one experience, one customers service and one bill for fixed and mobile, internet and telephony services. Vodafone NL launched its Anywhere App for TV in July.
