Volkswagen boost sales in Scotland despite emissions row

Thousands of Volkswagen employees in Wolfburg, Germany on October 6. They have been told that the company will have to contain costs in light of the emissions scandal SALES of the Volkswagen Group cars increased in Scotland last month despite the brand being engulfed by a diesel emissions cheating scandal. The latest car registration figures for north of the Border show that Scots motorists have not been put off buying brand new Volkswagen, Audi, Seat or Skoda vehicles in the wake of the row over "defeat device" software used by the German car giant.
