Volvo confirms it will open its first US car plant

Workforce training, an issue South Carolina officials have called their “secret sauce” in industrial recruiting, will play a key role in Volvo Cars' choice for its first car plant in North America, a company official said Monday. The Swedish automaker says it has a short list of possible locations, but didn't reveal them Monday.
