The operator of this sport-utility vehicle reportedly went off the road and struck a utility pole after a dog in the vehicle jumped into her lap, according to Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Ken Hatch. A Central Maine Power crew adjusts a pole knocked out of place during an accident on Washington Road in Jefferson.
