Waste Management starts construction on CNG fleet fueling facilitiy

Waste Management of Louisiana has started construction on a compressed natural gas facility in Walker that will fuel its trucks servicing Livingston Parish and the rest of the greater Baton Rouge area. Waste Management announced in February 2014 it would begin a conversion of its truck fleet in the Baton Rouge area to CNG in the fourth quarter of 2014 and the project was anticipated to last six to eight months.
