First, the Prescott City Council will consider approving a settlement agreement with Arizona Department of Environmental Quality connected to total maximum daily loads at Watson Lake. The latest pollution problems at Watson Lake go back to at least 2004, when the state listed the lake on its Impaired Waters List as impaired, based on 2002-03 sample results for total nitrogen, dissolved oxygen and pH.
