Waynesboro man charged with burglary after breaking into home

WAYNESBORO >> Kenneth Richard Sheldon, 45, Waynesboro was charged with multiple offenses after he broke into a residence on North Potomac Street on June 7. According to the affidavit of probable cause, Kreed Gardner had just came home at 7:40 p.m. and was attempting to walk into his residence when Sheldon exited and blocked the door to the home. Kreed told Waynesboro Police Sheldon threatened him several times, according to the affidavit, but was eventually able to get past him and through his door when Sheldon started following him inside while continuing to threaten him.
