A Spanish leader company in Aerospace Engineering and Scientific services with more than 45 years of experience working for NASA and 35 years working for ESA seeks a candidate for a postion of Web Software Developer at ESACVillafranca, Spain. Specific tasks requirements for this position Since the new webbased environment is a cooperation between SREO at ESAC and SRES at ESTEC, the person providing the service is required to spend time at ESTEC as well. The estimated time is 8 weeks per year. The company service manager is seen to be the only interface for providing the service. It is proposed to have a meeting with the service manager at least every 3 months to review the KPIs mentioned above, adjust KPIs if required and define new KPIs once the first 9 months have passed. Specific knowledge in the following areas is required Several years of experience in java development In depth knowledge of and experience with the Liferay Portal solution, in particular Liferay MVC model view controller, Spring and Junit Experience to develop portlets using the Vaadin framework Knowledge about Content Server 10, in particular the web services provided within that product Knowledge on web related applications, like media wikis, Kayako support, mysql database, mantis and jira. Specific Qualification Requirements University degree in computing or software engineering, or equivalent. Working knowledge of English, both in speaking and in writing.
