Weekly Cattle Market Wrap-Up | Feeder cattle receipts decline during normal summer slump

Receipts dropped quite a bit this week which is normal during the summer months when cattle are turned out on pastures. Prices were very mixed and uneven, yearling steers were steady to $2.00 higher as buyers fought over the more limited receipts, but yearling heifers showed weakness.
