Feeder cattle prices declined on the heels of the massive declines on the CME. Buyers continue to stick very close to their ability to hedge cattle. Yearling feeder cattle $5-16 lower and calves $12-24 lower. However, they actually saw some improvement at times in recent weeks due to aggressive bidding and excellent wheat pasture conditions.
