ANALYSIS – African Swine Fever has been reported for the first time in Belarus and there have been further outbreaks in two previously affected regions in the Russian Federation. To keep Porcine Epidemic Diarrhoea virus (PEDV) out of Canada, health officials there are calling on owners of vehicles carrying pigs to take extra care in cleaning and disinfecting trucks if they have been used to transport pigs in the US that could be infected with the virus.
