West Michigan ahead of the class in business, school collaborations

State Rep. Ken Yonker, R-Caledonia, says West Michigan has been a leader in bringing together school leaders and business and industry to help ensure this region's workforce is among the best trained. This week Gov. Rick Snyder at his first-ever combined summits on education and the economy in Detroit, pushed for collaboration between the state's schools and the business community.
