Wet Seal to close more than half its stores

Fast-fashion teen retailer Wet Seal Inc. said it would close about two-thirds of its retail locations -- 338 stores -- this week. Foothill Ranch, Calif.-based Wet Seal said in a statement Wednesday the closings occurred "after assessing its overall financial condition and the company's inability to successfully negotiate meaningful concessions from its landlords."
