WEEK AHEAD The market exits its worst opening month in a year since 2009 and looks ahead to another round of earnings reports, a heavy dose of economic data and expectations that the dollar is ready for another round of appreciation after the Bank of Japan's surprising move to shift to negative rates. Investors will also get a look at the results of Alphabet Inc, Pfizer Inc, Exxon Mobil Corp, Merck & Co and United Parcel Service Inc. The focus remains similar: tightening monetary and market conditions and concern about whether growth is strong enough to warrant the market adding more to the late January gains that offset some of the losses earlier in the month.
