Whirlpool shares are flying despite an earnings miss with Bank America Merrill Lynch calling it a buy and saying the investment industry is underestimating the positive impact of the two recent acquisitions of Indesit and Hefei Sanyo. I think the impact of these new divisions is key but that the Bank America analyst is a bit too optimistic.
