Whole Foods Market will open in River Square shopping center on Detroit Road in Rocky River in September, despite ongoing lawsuits by a neighborhood resident who says the city broke the law when it allowed the store to open there. Rocky River Law Director Andrew Bemer said lawyers are supposed to meet in the next few days to discuss Rockland Avenue resident Robert Weible's lawsuit that the Whole Foods project violates the zoning code because the property is zoned for local business -- not a national chain.
