It took Barbara Halverstadt , marketing director for the Jacksonville Aviation Authority, three-and-a-half years to persuade Allegiant Air to begin flights to Jacksonville International Airport. "That's not even long," Halverstadt said in a phone interview with the Business Journal, as part of an ongoing series of conversations about the airport's recent spout of new service.
