Intended for mobile platforms and accessories, Model BCM43012 enables OEMs to integrate Wi-Fi into applications that have traditionally been powered by Bluetooth alone due to battery size or constrained power budgets. Highly-integrated 28 nm dual-band 802.11n and Bluetooth 4.2 SoC combines power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, and power management unit. WLAN features include optimized proximity and location functions enabled by 802.11mc and TurboQAM® data rates up to 96 Mbps.
