A rendering from the MTA's North Shore BRT's feasibility study shows that the route running on a dedicated busway. Commuters on Staten Island were rightly upbeat last week about the news that there is actually some funding - $5 million, to be exact - in the Metropolitan Transportation Authority's capital budget for preliminary work on a North Shore Bus Rapid Transit line.
