Will.i.am onstage at Dreamforce with the developers who helped him build the Puls, a wearable communications and computing device that packs much of a smartphone's technical capabilities into a wrist cuff. As was breathlessly promised in advance, popular music star and entrepreneur Will.i.am at the Salesforce.com Dreamforce conference Wednesday evening unveiled a wireless "smartband" computing device called the "Puls" that packs many of the capabilities of a smartphone into a sleek wrist cuff with a curved screen.
