Winslow Given Clean Up Grant

The City of Winslow has received an $86,000 Brownfields grant from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality to remove asbestos and lead based paint from the former LZ Budget Motel, located at 1102 E. Second St. in the city's redevelopment district. The motel has been abandoned for years and sits on approximately one acre of land.
