Acting as IEEE 802.15.4 wireless bridge inside wired RS485 Modbus RTU installations, Model DM-124 provides limited point-to-point RS485 networks with versatility of wireless sensor networks. Each node automatically selects best route to forward data packets, effectively disseminating Modbus commands to all connected devices. Once installed, DM-124 is transparent to devices inside RS485 network, maintaining electric requirements of bus as well as integrity of Modbus RTU packet frames transmitted.
